Was there a cure

there was a way to stop the plague. first you had to make the earth completely dry because the plague was caused by the ocean water being evaporated and pleas getting the plague in them so to make the world dry there would be a large rain that carried rained down. no one could breath the air so every one burned herbs to get rid of the smell and you could not sleep during the day.Man that would be a long day doing nothing
